This week's episode of Running Man starts with the continuation from last time. Running Man cast with Suzy and Ryu Hyun Jin heads out to find hidden pillows however some who don't find it would have to clean up and do dishes that they used in episode 172. Ryu Hyun Jin is adorable as he continues to help out Suzy in some missions, even blushes whenever they try to make them look like a couple. I thought they'd be a cute couple if they really went out but I don't know if Ryu Hyun Jin or Suzy already have someone else.

Thoughts: Log Horizon Episode 8
I just recently watched the newest installment of Log Horizon and I was expecting some action again but instead of them being in an actual battle, the episode seems to have taken the intellectual battle path. I would have probably said that this path is what makes me bored in seeing in anime or movies but Log Horizon made me stay on my chair and watch the entire episode with me wanting more. It looked like it will become one of my personal favorites, along with Sword Art Online, Death Note, and Code Geass. A total of 25 episodes and not yet halfway, everything is looking good on my end. Log Horizon delivers what I wanted and the only thing missing would be someone cosplaying Akutsuki and I get to have a picture with her.
Just a quick though post about the anime, nothing to spoil it too much but if you haven't watched Log Horizon, start watching it today with episode 1! I'd rate it a 9/10 now but it may change depending on how the story flows and how they would end it or have it setup for a second season or even a full-blown long series like Naruto and Bleach. Man, those two anime are long but filled with fillers. Hope they don't do that kind of thing but I guess I can't complain much since Log Horizon is doing better.

Anime: Log Horizon
I just stumbled upon an anime called Log Horizon. I was thinking it would have a minecraft theme to it since it did have the word Log in the title and then the first thing you need to do on minecraft is to punch a tree to get wood (log). And the word Horizon is like a forest over the horizon, which actually happens when you spawn into your first world in Minecraft.
Anyways, we are presented by three characters at the first episode, a strategist, a tanker, and a DPSer class. Everything looking great til they run into trouble and then we get switched to what happened earlier before the group got together.
I see alot of comments on how this is SAO related but then when I look at Log Horizon, there may have some similarities but it has more of a party feel than being of a harem type fan service feel. Yes there are lolis and yes there are girls in the show but it's not as bad as SAO where the main character gets an episode with several different girls. But I don't really care as long as the anime delivers entertainment to its audience. Which it did for me. I liked it and started watching it recently. It's still ongoing but I can't wait for the next episode since this anime have me hooked.
Til then cheerio!

Thoughts: Free Stuff
A promise is a promise. A contract is a contract. I do stuff you don't want done and when it's done, you reap the credit and I get nothing? If you met someone like this, it's best off to just scratch them from future partnerships.
I don't know why people will do practically anything for free stuff. Even lie that they did all the work but just outsourced it to someone for practically free and get paid for it. The 3rd party however does not even get one piece of congratulations or credit.
I guess this is how the real world works. Times are tough, game face on, and I do hope that person will never cross my path again. Which just makes me angry in someways but I guess I'll just move on and do more productive work than just being negative for a long period of time.

Ryou's Thoughts of October
Hi guys! I'm back and reviving this blog of mine. I know I'm not a frequent poster but as of right now, I'm doing my best to keep active as a blogger. I'm still a casual gamer, although I've started a new business of my own in the food industry. With that said, my first topic of this post would be, Warframe. Some of you are probably familiar with the game but for those who doesn't, it's a 3rd person shooter futuristic game where you just shoot enemies trying to take over and stuff like that.
If you want more feedback on the game, I'll be posting a dedicated summary of my first hours of the game as well as how I started from Update 9.0 til 10.2. So far, I'm still enjoying it and the game devs Digital Extreme are doing their best to keep their players satisfied. I mean, who would make livestream and updates on a regular basis? Let alone the pretty ladies such as Rebecca and Megan seen playing the game itself. The guys are also awesome, from the art department to the people who make the game happen, kudos to all of you. Hope Warframe will last as long as I want it to be but hopefully it will, say 10 years?
If you guys want to start playing and see the game for yourself, first create account and then download the game, which is quite small in size compared to other games with excellent graphics.
Second on the top of my head is Octoberfest!! Beer and celebration at the middle of the month and hopefully I don't drink too much this year. Well, too much is already bad for you in any aspect but beer is actually healthy when you drink moderately. In terms of moderately, I mean like 2 or 3 mugs. I still have to set a schedule with my friends on where we'd go drinking and have fun.
Thirdly, Magic the Gathering. I know in late Sept, Theros block was released. I missed the opportunity to join the prerelease but I'm hoping it's not too late to jump into the fray to battle other duelists in my area. Hopefully I'll be visiting some stores along Ortigas and Manila so if I do meet some of you, don't be scared to approach me and say hi. :)
I guess that's all for now, I do hope I can get my blogging days back. But with the busy schedule ahead of me, I guess I can squeeze a few minutes so that I could relive my writing dream. Til the next post, cheerio!

Demise of Ragnarok Part III
One quick and final post for today about Demise of Morroc. When the servers went up, I quickly logged in and tried to do everything to see if there was a siege. I didn't exactly notice one particular bit at that time but after awhile, and browsing through lots of screenshots, it just crossed me.
Why would some of my screenshots have www.ragnarok.co.kr on it and the other half have www.ragnarok.ph? It puzzled me really, but then I remembered it was the same thing that happened when Thor was migrated to Valhalla. As a Valhalla player, screenshots of "first steps/minutes in Valhalla" were somewhat essential. Over a course of time, screenshots do seem to tell a story behind why are they sometimes having emergency maintenances right after the weekly maintenance.
The story of Thor/Valhalla screenshots will be short. Valhalla screenshots were saved "screenThor001...screenThor002" and so on. Emergency maintenance came and after that, the screenshot names were changed to "screenValhalla001...screenValhalla002" and so on. My guess would be is they just renamed Thor to Valhalla and applied the new F2P settings as well as some kafra storage wipeout. So what's all of this got to do with Demise of Morroc? They probably, my theoretical guess, applied the settings and files from Sakray to the other servers and probably forgot to change the names and locations of where things should be.
An outline of what happened before the emergency maintenance and after.
1) I took a screenshot at around 2PM.
2) Emergency Maintenance took place at 3PM.
3) I took another screenshot at around 6PM.
Here's the 2 screenshots and notice the bottom-right corner of the images.

This is solely my opinion and perspective on what I think happens to major patches and/or server migrations.

Demise of Ragnarok Part II
As long as bugs are present, I'll probably keep updating and posting here about my rants and other stuff that people might want to know about regarding Demise of Morroc.
First off, at around 11PM earlier, an emergency maintenance was announced, creating us to log out of our characters as quickly as possible. After a long wait, finally some progress. Sprite glitches were fixed. Twin Ribbon on their characters' heads could be seen. Other headgears were visible.
Another good news, agit ownership was reverted as well as keeping tact the economy and defense points of the agit. Now I'm thinking if there is someone from LU reading blogs and then forwarding these rants to the right people and after awhile, everything is fixed. Scary but possibly true.
I still have yet to see the action-packed mayhem in the battlefields of Valhalla and earn medals so that I could get my hands on those precious equipment that could boost stats and damage to the opponent.
I'll post another entry regarding of what may be happening during the long maintenance that occurred on November 26, 2008. :)

Demise of Ragnarok
Demise of Morroc. New monsters, new maps, new features added to Ragnarok Online. As a Ragnarok player, I was expecting a smooth and good gameplay on the first minutes after the weekly maintenance was done. However, a shock to most of the players was greeted for Demise of Morroc. More like Demise of RO Players. At around 8:40 PM on that fated day, players could log into the servers and would eventually be forcefully disconnected. This followed a chain reaction of maps going down and a couple of bugs being revealed. Instability of the server was getting on the nerves of the players. And more so, siege continued with only a piece of announcement stating that they would revert agit ownerships back to the original owners before that siege started.
But one day wasted filled with logging into the server to check if everything was ok, the agits were utterly destroyed repeatedly. Yeah, they'll revert the ownership but would they also revert to the eco and def ratings of the agits? A week's worth of investing on that agit and then no possible chances of defending that. Who's to blame? LU. Why? They knew that there was a siege. They knew when the server would be up. They knew that the servers were unstable. They haven't said anything except "revert agit ownership back." Now the question is WHEN? I'm sure you'd understand the frustration of a player who lost an agit due to technical difficulties that could have been prevented if LU just disabled that siege or just remained on maintenance mode until 10 PM with an announcement.
Does that announcement look right or did they drink til they got drunk due to stress over the maintenance and adding up the new episode?
What's more funny is the battlefield. This was what I was wanting to do the first thing I had free time. 19 players versus 19 players in a big map. Just like WOE except this is more like CS. But what do we get? We saw a Vanguard broadcasting that he needs players go to the Kafra South of Payon, talk to the NPC that will bring you to the battlefield arena, and then join a side, no need for party, just go inside the Flavius (red/blue) rooms and enter the pub. A total of 38 players were waiting there. Now, it should have been automatic but what do we get? 2 hours wasted of staring at the screen doing what that Vanguard was instructing us to do so that we could have an action-packed fight inside the battlefield. We've done everything that was indicated on the "game guide for battlefield" we researched on the internet and we've done everything the Vanguard told us to do. But nothing, we just stood there waiting for nothing until time came most of them had to go off due to school or work the next day.
So much for the first day of Demise of Morroc. Before I end my rant, I wonder, what happened to the exp mod those at the LU Live shouted back then? They said there would be an EXP mod for Demise of Morroc. But now. None.
Oh well, at least I got those off my chest. Let's party on with nachos and salsa!
