Warframe: Mag Prime is Mine!!!!

Today will be a milestone in my Warframe career.  I have finally collected the necessary parts to make Mag Prime.  I've been trying to get her since U10 but I guess I got it with my patience and all the luck in the world.

Another milestone for me is reaching the 35th minute of survival.  Although it was just in Apollo, Mercury, it was still a jam packed action with my World on Fire just poking a little at those heavies!  Glad to have reached the extraction point before they all swarmed in all directions!

Now the last frame I can obtain is Ember Prime.  Capture Void keys are tough to get nowadays.  I don't even know where to start hunting for these keys.  Some said that it was giving in Corpus Def/Survival missions as rewards but I'm not sure if that's the real case.  Time to do some research on the internet and hope to get her soon.  Til then, cheerio!

Warframe: Valkyr is Mine!

I'm excited to test out the new warframe called Valkyr.  And I'm going to nickname her, Valerie!  Can't wait for 4 days!  Also had a titan extractor built so I could farm resources while I'm away.  Hopefully I get some more neural sensors because I somehow need those to build helmets.  I guess I'll go back in farming for Ember Prime and Mag Prime.  I gave up on Excalibur Prime because it was only attainable via the Founder's Package, which is no longer available.  So far so good for my collection of frames.

Warframe: Update 11, Hunt for Alad V, and lots of new updates!

Today marks another day for Warframe, Update 11 has been released and right now I'm testing a few stuff like the Codex, scanners, new weapons, and the new mechanics.  I got lost with the new GUI, couldn't find my contact list and chatbox but it's cleverly tucked in the right side.

Anyways, I would love to get my hands on Valkyr as soon as possible but I guess I have to wait since Alad V's location isn't known yet until the current event has finished.  New tilesets for Jupiter is great, couldn't ask for more.  J3 Golem is easier to kill with the new boss location, still in Theminos Jupiter but later will be replaced with Alad V, I think.

But for now, I'm gonna rank my newly made Vauban which was sitting in the foundry for months when I went into hiatus due to the lack of updates since U10.  And I guess it's time to show how he looks like.

Battle pay is back for more as you defeat the infestation from invading Jupiter and reveal Alad V's location.  New weapons and trading system implemented.  I haven't tried the trading system yet but hopefully when we get the trading post in the dojo done, I can test that one out.  Also got a 50% off plat price as login reward today, so I might take advantage of that later within the day.  So far so good, DE, keep it up and surprise us!

Final note about the new damage and armor revamp, not sure if I should be happy or not because there's alot to absorb now but hopefully I can make light on the topic soon.  Til then, cherrio!

Gaming: Warframe Update 11

Warframe just had their livestream a few days ago and after watching their update on what is expected on U11, I guess it's time to prepare to return to becoming a space ninja once again.  Sharpen my parkour skills and my aiming.  Now, I may share some stuff that was mentioned on the livestream but you probably can see the full summary on the forums.  What is expected on Warframe U11 is that there will be 2 new bosses, 2 new warframes (Berserker and Ember Prime), a new tileset for Jupiter, and a revamp on a boss.  Forgot what that boss was but it was something that can be viewed as a good thing.  Armor/Damage revamp was also mentioned.  Not sure about the details but they did say that if you haven't quit playing the game, then this update might give you another reason.  However I guess they're just scaring their viewers because of the negative feedbacks they received on the forums.  That's why I don't frequent the forums that much because they're all "you should do this because it sucks at the moment" type posters but there are a few with constructive criticism with valid ideas that can make it better.

They did show the PS4 version of Warframe.  But I guess I'll still be sticking to PC since I can't just abandon my long hours since cross-platform isn't an option.  They also presented a new GUI.  Introduce Codex, where you can scan enemies and other stuff to collect data which is cool because it shows you what they drop and where they can be seen on a mission.  Stealth has been boosted for more EXP.  And they also introduced a drone machine that could mine and gather resources for you while you are away.  They did mention that you can have more than one drone and can use two at a time.  Not sure how that will work but I guess it's better to have a helper than none at all.  If you missed the whole livestream, you can watch them here.

Warframe: Mag Prime Hunting / Survival Frustrations

Hey guys!  I guess the latest I have been doing is Warframe, hunting the recently added Prime, Mag Prime.  I really don't know if I'm just getting bad luck since I've got around a few mag prime parts but it's always the Helmet and the Chassis.  I've been doing several T3 Survival runs in the void, each around 10 mins.

I know people would just say it's RNG but I dunno, probably I shouldn't lose hope that fast because it does get frustrating when farming for those keys.  Frustrating in a point where I have to go do survival missions on my own or with a few trusted friends.

Imagine you doing a survival mission with the target time of 15 minutes.  Then someone joins around 4+ minutes who just goes to the extraction point immediately when Lotus announces that it is available.  While fighting those mobs, extraction cutscene appears and you leave the game with the loots but with no credits.  Not only that, I just wasted a few minutes of my time due to someone who can't handle the mob or just wants to leave the mission.  I don't blame them but I do hope they [Digital Extremes] make solutions regarding this.

But I don't intend to give up just yet.  I know this is part of the process where I need to keep on pushing forward and try to get that exclusive Mag Prime warframe before Ember Prime comes into the game.  By the way, I'm a huge ember fan.  I had her as my second frame, Loki being the first.  I must say I enjoy her World on Fire skill and her sexy appearance.

I guess that's it for today, might as well spend more time farming and keep you updated with my progress.  Hope others get Mag Prime as well, since I do see several players playing with it already.  Doesn't make me jealous though because someday, I'll be able to add her to my collection.  Till then, cheerio!

Ryou's Thoughts of October

Hi guys!  I'm back and reviving this blog of mine.  I know I'm not a frequent poster but as of right now, I'm doing my best to keep active as a blogger.  I'm still a casual gamer, although I've started a new business of my own in the food industry.  With that said, my first topic of this post would be, Warframe.  Some of you are probably familiar with the game but for those who doesn't, it's a 3rd person shooter futuristic game where you just shoot enemies trying to take over and stuff like that.

If you want more feedback on the game, I'll be posting a dedicated summary of my first hours of the game as well as how I started from Update 9.0 til 10.2.   So far, I'm still enjoying it and the game devs Digital Extreme are doing their best to keep their players satisfied.  I mean, who would make livestream and updates on a regular basis?  Let alone the pretty ladies such as Rebecca and Megan seen playing the game itself.  The guys are also awesome, from the art department to the people who make the game happen, kudos to all of you.  Hope Warframe will last as long as I want it to be but hopefully it will, say 10 years?
If you guys want to start playing and see the game for yourself, first create account and then download the game, which is quite small in size compared to other games with excellent graphics.

Second on the top of my head is Octoberfest!!  Beer and celebration at the middle of the month and hopefully I don't drink too much this year.  Well, too much is already bad for you in any aspect but beer is actually healthy when you drink moderately.  In terms of moderately, I mean like 2 or 3 mugs.  I still have to set a schedule with my friends on where we'd go drinking and have fun.

Thirdly, Magic the Gathering.  I know in late Sept, Theros block was released.  I missed the opportunity to join the prerelease but I'm hoping it's not too late to jump into the fray to battle other duelists in my area.  Hopefully I'll be visiting some stores along Ortigas and Manila so if I do meet some of you, don't be scared to approach me and say hi.  :)

I guess that's all for now, I do hope I can get my blogging days back.  But with the busy schedule ahead of me, I guess I can squeeze a few minutes so that I could relive my writing dream. Til the next post, cheerio!
