Merchant Combo Set

Now my first combo set analysis for today is the Merchant Combo Set. A personal favorite because of its attributes and advantages for being part of the merchant class. Before I start analyzing, let's look at the cards that are needed for the combo.

Now, let's take a look at each card individually.

Baby Leopard Card
LUK +3.
If worn by Merchant Class characters, their armors cannot be damaged.

Analysis: The additional Luck is a good boost for Blacksmith forgers and for critical Battlesmiths. And for the armors being indestructible, a good addition against MVPs that do great damage by breaking armors of MVP hunters.

Hylozoist Card
Add the chance of transmogrifying a monster while fighting.

Analysis: Chance of changing a monster to another monster? That would be risky yet very rewarding. No need to go into far dungeons to attack a bapho jr. But it would be a hilarious sight to see a cute fuzzy lunatic transform into a Abysmal Knight along with its Khalitzburg mob.

Myst Case Card
Add the chance of gaining 'Gift Box' item each time a monster is killed.

Analysis: My favorite card, mostly used while leveling up. Gift boxes contain most expensive items that can be sold through vending. Or you can use those items at your disposal without any costs.

Raggler Card
STR + 1, VIT + 1

Analysis: Another footgear card that I use for any character due to it's added stat to Strength and Vitality. If you can hit hard, you also need some HP to stay alive while duking it out against a strong opponent.

Now, if all cards are worn by the merchant class at the same time, here's the added attribute:

Restore 2 SP every time when attacking.
Inflict 20% more damage with Mammonite.
LUK + 10
Add a chance of gaining "Old Purple Box" each time a monster is killed.
Reflect single target Magic back at the caster

Analysis: Mammonite power! Now with additional 20% damage, that's one good way to put zenny to good use. An additional 10 Luck is another benefit for forgers and battlesmiths alike. Aside from the Gift Box from the Myst Case card, you'll be getting a chance to obtain an Old Purple Box! Talk about doubling your income if your lucky. I guess for the last attribute, reflecting single target magic is somewhat for PVP and WOE. There's too little monsters that cast single target magic on the player.

I guess that's all for my analysis on the merchant combo set. For Valhalla, the merchant combo set can be bought at the hypermart, but if you've got some cards in the set and still need one or two cards to complete it, I think the hypermart card NPC has those cards as well. This is one combo set that I personally like, the other is the swordsman set.
