New Year's Countdown!

Might as well say it in advance, Happy New Year! Enjoy your New Year's festivities as I am about to prepare a huge amount of food while spending time with my family. Too bad I couldn't spend time with my other half but at least she'll be ok at her place enjoying it with her family. :) Cheers!

Valhalla's Simbang Gabi Event of 2008

May sariling schedule si Father Ignacio kaya naging flexible kami para sumilip every hour kung kailan siya mag hold ng mass for that day. Isang araw biglang tinopak at naging late si Father Ignacio after niyang mag skip ng 10th mass at diretsong 11th mass for almost 2 days. Pinabayaan namin eto dahil masyadong maaga sa schedule si Father kaya hinintay namin mag sabi na "Tomorrow would be the last day for the mass..." kaso ano ang nangyari today?

10:30pm, try ko kausapin si Father pero 11th mass parin daw. Gumala muna ako at bumalik sa kanya para i-check kung ano na status ng mass. Nagulat ako at sabi ni Father sa akin ay... Ngayun try ko sa kabilang character at ganun din ang sinabi. Maya-maya, may Vanguard dumating at try ayusin. Ang akala ko maayos to at magiging ok. Pero ano nangyari after ilang beses nag peek-a-boo si Father? Ngayun dumami ang tao at dinumog si Father na parang may People Power. Eto naman sinabi ni Father sa akin nung lumabas ulit siya. Mga ilang beses siya nawala at bumalik, eto ang nakukuha ko kay father. After na sumulpot yung last re-appearance ni Father, eto na ang pinakahihintay ko. "You're almost done. I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.". After nito, nag login ako dun sa iba pang char na nakapag 11th mass, kaso nung kinausap ko si Father, parang di niya kilala.

Katulad ng iba, madami akong character nakompleto ang 11th mass pero dahil sa nangyari, dalawa na lang ang makakakuha ng cookie hat sa event. Yung ibang di sumipot for the previous days ng Simbang Gabi, nagkaroon ng chance na magkaroon dahil sa nangyari. Imagine mo na lang, may taong gagawa ng event na almost 2 weeks ang duration tapos sa huli, mayron din makakagawa ng event in just 40 minutes?

Oo, frustrated ako dahil may plano ako sa makukuhang cookie hats sa event kaso nasira lang dahil sa nangyaring last minute resolution.

Movies: Resident Evil Degeneration

I saw this movie trailer at youtube, trying to find movie trailers that caught my attention for a December movie marathon. So as a Resident Evil fan, I do like to watch this movie, even though this is a computer animated movie just like Final Fantasy movies. The plot, as it may seem, is another zombie outbreak and a big boss at the end where the main characters, Claire and Leon probably get to kill. Reminds me of Resident Evil 4, where a monster was introduced as "Degenerator."

As far as I'm concerned, this will be one of the top 5 movies for my movie marathon for the month of December.

Holiday Break for Tribalwars

A surprising development arrived when I logged into the Tribalwars Forum, a thread named Holiday Break Discussion was found. Curious as I am, I entered it and started reading the mechanics and it's duration. As it may seem, attacks can be sent to other players but they will just visit their destination like a merry group taking a stroll. No information from scouts will be collected. No troops will destroy the city and its defenders. No resources will be gathered. Just plain hello-goodbye type of attack I guess.

Now, for the most part, majority of the voters will be the determining factor of the poll, right now, most of the people are in favor of a 2 sets of dates, covering Christmas and New Years, for the Holiday Break. Most surprisingly, the people who are against the Holiday Break are following behind the polls.

For me, I think this Holiday Break is a great way to rebuild and regroup after a good war has been won. :)
